Weißer Engel

Our ZOO Hausmarke Weißer Engel is a high-quality sintered glass filter material designed to offer a large surface area for beneficial bacteria colonization while maintaining a very high flow rate. This filter material effectively supports the breakdown of harmful substances in your aquarium, contributing to healthy and clear water.

With a usable bacterial surface area of 1200 m² per liter, Weißer Engel provides an ideal foundation for filter bacteria colonization. Please note that all filter media lose a significant portion of their filtration capacity over time. Therefore, this filter material should be replaced every 12 months, with the addition of starter bacteria recommended.
