Schwarzes Luder

Our ZOO Hausmarke Schwarzes Luder is a highly effective filter material designed to efficiently bind and remove harmful substances from your aquarium water. The included activated carbon directs these toxins into the filter body, where they are quickly and widely distributed. This significantly enhances the filtration performance and effectively prevents dangerous toxin spikes.

With a usable bacterial colonization surface of 1500 m² per liter, Schwarzes Luder provides an optimal foundation for the growth of beneficial filter bacteria. As with all filter media, the filtration capacity decreases over time. Therefore, we recommend replacing this filter material every 12 months, adding starter bacteria to maintain its full functionality.
