Hochleistungs Filterkohle

Our ZOO Hausmarke Hochleistungs Filterkohle is the perfect solution for clearing your aquarium water. This activated carbon binds suspended particles and ensures crystal-clear water by removing medication residues and other unwanted substances.

Additionally, the filter carbon provides a surface for beneficial filter bacteria, contributing to the biological purification of the water. However, the absorption capacity of the carbon is limited and will deplete over time, potentially leading to the release of accumulated substances.

Recommendation: Remove the filter carbon after 14 days and replace it as needed. Used activated carbon should not be reused. For permanent use in aquariums with many plants, we recommend supplementing with iron fertilizers, trace elements, or another liquid fertilizer.
